Why Do Catholics Pray to Mary? BY: Coco, Apologist

This is a commonly misunderstood by other Christian Denomination Catholic do not pray to Mary we ask Mary to pray for us. If you see a Catholic while praying what will you hear before the end of his prayer? A Catholic will say a St. Mary, pray for us, St. Michael pray for us etc. This is something like you are asking a prayer from your Mother, Friends etc.

Pray for us and Pray to you is different, so I think every anti-Catholic should think a million of times before accusing us. “Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others. – (Matthew 7:1-2) It is a misconception that a Catholic prays to Mary actually we consider Mary aside from she’s the mother of the Son of the living God She’s a Blessed (Luke 1:28 and 42). She received the fullness of graces from the Lord our God and she actually was the one to have born the only Son of God, Lord Jesus Christ, so given all this facts how can you dare not to venerate Mary or can you not even asked Mary for you to intercede wishes, your intentions to the Lord God, it is prerogative of every Catholic Faithful to ask for the intercession of the Blessed Mary, since Virgin Mary is the Mother of God, therefore, she deserves all the rights and all the privileges to be closer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
